Clergy on Patrol
About the Campaign
Clergy on Patrol is a unique partnership between the Rochester Mayor’s Office, the Rochester Police Department, and dedicated members of the clergy.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to build bridges and foster trust between law enforcement, local government, and the communities we serve.
What We Do
On designated days, members of the clergy, along with the Mayor and police officers, hit the streets of Rochester, walking through neighborhoods, engaging with residents, and listening to their concerns. This proactive approach allows us to establish meaningful connections, address community needs, and promote safety and harmony.

Our Goal
We are passionate about making a difference in our community
- Community Engagement
- Building Trust
- Promoting Unity
In a diverse city like Rochester, unity is essential. Clergy on Patrol brings together people from different backgrounds and walks of life, united by a common goal: to create a safer, more inclusive community for all.
